JUMBO Plastic Linoleum came up with a huge first half and ran away with a 94-57 win over MP Hotel on Monday in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup at the JCSGO gym.

The Giants outscored the Manny Pacquiao-owned franchise, 45-16, in the first two quarters wen route to their second straight victory for a 4-1 win-loss record.

“We know MP Hotel’s weakness is the point guard spot. So we want their bigs to bring down the ball. I thought our full-court press held up. Our bench also made a difference in this game,” said Jumbo Plastic coach Stevenson Tiu.

Marion Magat scored a game-high 18 points off the bench, with Denice Villamor and Mark Cruz also chipping in 13 and 11 markers each for the Giants, who missed the services of big man Maclean Sabellina due to a fractured finger.
