JERON Teng has signed with new PBA D-League team Flying V in PBA D-League for the Foundation Cup after a stint with AMA Online.

Drafted No. 1 by the Titans before the Aspirants Cup, Teng now suits up for Flying V, a supporter of the Green Archers men’s basketball squad.

Teng’s agent Danny Espiritu on Monday confirmed the development to It was no surprise, as Flying V officials said last week during the team launch the possibility of signing La Salle players, and Teng only inked a one-conference deal with AMA.

“That is not far from happening,” said Flying V team manager Joey Guillermo last week.

“The direction is to create a very competitive team,” Guillermo added.

The team will be handled by champion coach in Eric Altamirano, who steered Purefoods, Mobiline to PBA titles and National University to a championship in the UAAP.
