Jeff Viernes, three other Mixers score in double figures in 27-point win over Warriors

KERAMIX came up with a huge Foundation Cup debut, scoring an 87-60 victory over MP Hotel-Letran on Thursday in the PB D-League at the Ynares Sports Arena.

The Mixers, formerly known as Racal Motors, came up with a 23-6 first quarter and never let up.

KeraMix coach Caloy Garcia won at the expense of MP Hotel, which has a tie-up with the Letran Knights whom he coached for two years.

“We didn’t even talk about ’yung Letran (ang kalaban namin). We just want to run against this team because we are a small team,” said Garcia.

Jeff Viernes had 20 points, while Michael DiGregorio scored all his 14 points in the third period.

Jam Jamito added 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Mixers, who also got 12 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, and four steals from Jiovanni Jalalon.

Rey Nambatac had 15 points for the Warriors in his developmental league debut.
