CIGNAL proved too much for Marinerong Pilipino, scoring an 87-64 rout on Tuesday to complete a sweep of their semifinal showdown in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Raymar Jose led Cignal with a double-double outing of 24 points and 11 rebounds.

Jose headed to the venue right after the Gilas Pilipinas SEA Games team's tuneup game against Adamson, but hardly showed signs of fatigue in leading the Hawkeyes to the finals against the winner between Flying V and Centro Escolar University.

Pamboy Raymundo scored 18, making 4 of 7 shots from the three-point area, while also grabbing three rebounds and making four assists.

Jason Villarias added 16 markers.

"We're happy we made it to the finals. It's been a tough conference for us. Hopefully we'll finish it with a championship," said Cignal coach Boyet Fernandez.

The Hawkeyes went 11-0 in the fourth, with Jonathan Uyloan hitting back-to-back triples.

"We're happy we made it to the finals. It's been a tough conference for us. Hopefully we'll finish it with a championship," said Cignal coach Boyet Fernandez.
