Falcons look to get a win run going in clash with weary Revellers
Che'Lu Bar and Grill coach Stevenson Tiu hopes his Revellers squad have enough energy despite a tough PCCL stint for its Stags core when they take on Franz Pumaren's Akari-Adamson team. Dante Peralta

AKARI-Adamson hopes to sustain its winning ways when it tackles Che'Lu Bar and Grill-San Sebastian in the PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup on Tuesday.

Coming off a 98-92 win over Go for Gold, the Falcons shoot for their second victory in three games in the 4 p.m. match at the JCSGO Gym in Cubao.

Akari-Adamson coach Franz Pumaren, though, insists they are tempering expectations as they are only out to see how his wards will fare against tougher competition.

"We’re here to explore and see what our players are capable of doing. We’re here to assess everything," Pumaren said.

For Che'Lu Bar and Grill coach Stevenson Tiu, it will take more effort to pick up win No. 3 for the Revellers (2-2), especially with his San Sebastian core coming off a tiring stint in the PCCL Elite 8 over the weekend.

"We just have to play with intensity and energy despite our lack of preparation due to our players’ commitment to San Sebastian in the PCCL," he said.

Meanwhile, Perpetual (1-1) and Go for Gold (1-2) clash at 2 p.m.
