RACAL stunned Phoenix, 93-75, as the Tile Masters handed the Accelerators their first loss in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup on Thursday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

The Tile Masters, who improved to a 5-2 win-loss record, turned a tight game into a blowout in the fourth period as they built a comfortable 90-75 lead that they never relinquished.

Jamil Ortuoste, Robby Celiz, and Billy Robles conspired in the final 10 minutes, combining for 20 of the team's 28 fourth quarter points.

Ortuoste led Racal with 20 points, five rebounds, three assists, and a steal. Jonathan Grey added 19 markers, including 13 in the third quarter.

"I told them them that the only way we can beat Phoenix is through running the whole time because they rely on (Mike Tolomia), Mac Belo, and RR Pogoy a lot. Siguro napagod sila dun," said Racal coach Caloy Garcia.

"We're just lucky today that the players followed the directions of the coaches," he added.

Belo returned from a one-game suspension and led Phoenix with 22 points. Pogoy and Tolomia had 16 and 13 markers, respectively, for the Accelerators, who dropped to 5-1.
