League-leading CEU eyes third straight win as Scorpions take on struggling AMA Titans
Rod Ebondo and the Scorpions eye their sixth win in seven games.

CENTRO Escolar University looks to strengthen its hold on the top spot when it tackles AMA Online Education in the PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup on Thursday.

The match starts at 1 p.m. at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig, with the Scorpions also seeking a third straight victory.

Although up against a slumping team in AMA, coach Yong Garcia is urging the Scorpions to give their full effort.

The Titans (1-5) have indeed struggled to barge into the win column even with the emerence of Robbie Manalang and addition of big man Mac Andaya.

"Walang malakas o mahina na kalaban para sa amin. Ang importante is our system, kung paano namin ibibigay yung best effort namin," Garcia said.

Meanwhile, Akari-Adamson (5-2) takes on Batangas-EAC (1-6) in the 11 a.m. match.
