CafeFrance bounces back with victory over AMA Titans in Foundation Cup

CAFEFRANCE bounced back after its first defeat of the conference, scoring a 92-86 win over AMA Online Education on Tuesday in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup at the Ynares Sports Arena.

Carl Bryan Cruz had 20 points and nine rebounds as the Bakers scored their fourth win in five games, bouncing back from their collapse in the game against Tanduay last week.

The Bakers lost to Tanduay, 84-80, after holding an early 20-point lead.

Rodrigue Ebondo had 16 points, Aaron Jeruta had 12 points and eight assists, while Paul Zamar added 11 for the Bakers, who occupy provisionary second place over idle Tanduay (3-1).

The loss spoiled the effort of Rashawn McCarthy, who had a game-high 25 points for AMA as it remained winless in four games.
