CAGAYAN Valley remained in top form after the holiday break, pulling off an easy 89-78 win over AMA University in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup at the JCSGO gym in Quezon City.

Moala Tautuaa had 10 points while Eric Salamat had eight, combining for 12 right in the first quarter when the Rising Suns opened a 23-10 lead to set the tone for the romp.

Abel Galliguez topscored with 20 points for the Rising Suns, who improved their record to 8-0 win-loss record.

The Titans dropped to 3-6 win-loss.
