ZARK’s Burger-Lyceum and Che’Lu Bar-San Sebastian battles for all the marbles in Game 3 of the PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup finals on Tuesday at the Ynares Sports Arena.

It has been a long journey for both squads with the Jawbreakers looking to continue their run from sixth place.

The Revellers on the other hand came from fourth and will look to round up what was an amazing run marred by personnel changes throughout the season.

Regardless of the result, the end goal for Zark’s head coach Topex Robinson is still about inspiring the people watching their game.

“We’re reminding the players na it’s always about us inspiring others and we should not get away from that,” said Robinson.

“We’ll never get out of our mantra to honor the game, play the right way, value integrity and always do the right things,” he said.

While Robinson will be leaning on his young players led by conference MVP CJ Perez, coach Stevenson Tiu will be looking at his veterans to get the job done as Tiu guns for his first D-League title.

With Jeff Viernes now playing for Globalport in the PBA, the Revellers pin their hopes on Samboy de Leon and Alfred Batino, two players who aren’t new to winning championships in the developmental league when they won the title with CafeFrance.

Joining the Centro Escolar pair is former Batangas Cedrick Ablaza who’s come up big for Tiu and the Revellers as young guns Michael Calisaan and Allyn Bulanadi are also expected to play big in the finale.

“Beterano yung players ko kaya naniniwala parin ako sa kanila,” said Tiu after his squad suffered a 98-90 defeat in Game Two last Thursday.

“Their will to win is always there at hanggang nandoon yun, may chance kami,” he added.
