CAFE France pummeled Jose Rizal University in the second half to pull away with a 75-57 victory in the PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig on Thursday.

Rod Ebondo led the charge for the Bakers with 21 points and nine rebounds. Paul Desiderio added 13 markers.

After a slow start, Cafe France used a furious 17-2 outburst to open the third period and establish a 55-38 lead that they never relinquished. The Bakers also locked down the Heavy Bombers offense to just nine points in the period and a total of 21 for the entire second half.

The lead even ballooned to 67-47 in the fourth period.
