GAMBOA Coffee Mix-St. Clare shoots for a third straight win when it takes on Jose Rizal University in the PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup on Monday.

Gametime is at 4 p.m. following the match pitting Batangas-EAC against AMA Online Education at the JCSGO Gym in Cubao.

Behind Aris Dionisio and Fil-Am Trevis Jackson, the Coffee Lovers scored back-to-back victories, the latest a 70-58 mauling of Mila's Lechon.

But Gamboa coach Jinino Manansala knows sustaining the run won't be easy.

“Magandang baon yung dalawang panalo namin. Pero alam namin na mahaba pa ang liga so kailangang paghirapan pa namin yung mga laro,” said Manansala, whose team is tied with JRU with a 2-1 card.

JRU, on the other hand, is eager to get back on its feet after yielding to Perpetual, 72-88.

To do that, JRU coach Gio Lasquety said the Heavy Bombers need to rediscover their defensive intensity.

"Yung biggest adjustment na we’ll do on our game against Gamboa is yung defensive intensity namin. We need to improve our transition defense because that’s what’s missing on our loss to Perpetual,” said Lasquety.

AMA and Batangas-EAC, both at 0-3, clash at 2 p.m.
