NATIONAL University-Banco De Oro won its second straight game as the Bulldogs routed Zambales M-Builders, 94-68, on Monday in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup at the JCSGO gym.
Troy Rosario scored 23 points and pulled down 17 rebounds for the Bulldogs, who won back-to-back games for the first time in their maiden conference in the developmental league.
NU-BDO defeated Cebuana Lhuillier, 93-75, on Thursday.
The Bulldogs secured the win as early as the second quarter, when they built a 51-29 lead at the half.
NU-BDO, using the developmental league in preparation for the coming UAAP season, now has a 4-8 win-loss slate.
Bobby Ray Parks added 15 points, while Glenn Khobuntin had 14 points for the Bulldogs.
Zambales M-Builders has lost nine straight games and hold a 2-10 win-loss record. Zambales winds up its campaign against NLEX on Thursday.
Mike Tolomia had 25 points while John Ray Alabanza added 20 points for the struggling M-Builders.
