MICHAEL Juico scored 18 points as Wangs Basketball defeated AMA University, 96-78, on Monday in the the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
Wangs Basketball opened the game with 13 straight points and cruised to victory over the Titans.
“The boys worked hard lalo na sa offense at defense. Kumpleto kami ngayon. May big man at point guard,” said Wangs coach Pablo Lucas, whose team will next face MP Hotel.
Mark Acosta had 15 points while Rocky Acidre added 12 for Wangs.
Jesmar Sabangan had a game-high 22 points for the AMA Titans.
