MACMAC Tallo is raring to strut his wares for Racal in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup.
The former Southwestern University star, though, said he is still in the process of trying to settle down and grasp his role with a Tile Masters side looking to improve on a runner-up finish in the Aspirants' Cup.
"One month pa lang kami magkakasama. Okay naman, nakaka-blend in naman ako. Madali silang kaibiganin," the Cebuano guard told SPIN.ph.
Racal veterans have also helped make the transition smooth for the two-time Cesafi MVP.
Allan Mangahas, he added, has been giving him a lot of pointers which he can use once the D-League contender plunges into action on May 25.
"Lahat sila nakakatulong sa akin lalo mga beterano namin," said the third-round pick by Racal in the D-League draft last December.
"Nakakatulong sila sa akin para mag-improve. Lahat ng experience nila, shine-share nila sa akin."
Tallo hopes to work on his weaknesses and sees his first D-League stint as a big boost to become an all-around player as he inches closer to his PBA dream.
"Kulang pa ako, marami pa kailangan i-improve sa shooting at depensa. Yun lang muna, step-by-step lang," he said.
