MAC Belo had 25 points, Mike Tolomia added 22 markers, and Phoenix romped past Topstar ZC Mindanao, 108-78, on Thursday in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup at the JCSGO Gym.
The Accelerators got their bearings in the second period when they outscored the Aguilas, 29-14. They broke the game wide open with a 33-13 fourth-quarter assault.
Belo and Tolomia, both from Mindanao, helped Phoenix improve to 2-0 to start the conference.
The Aguilas failed to sustain their 27-22 lead, including an 11-0 start in the first period leading to their second defeat in as many games.
