KENT Salado vows to bounce back after making an early exit when he hurt his ankle in the opener of the D-League Aspirants Cup final.
Racal looks to extend the series when the Tile Masters and Cignal San Beda battle in Game Two on Monday and Salado is eager to help after watching his teammates fall short.
"Kailangan namin mag-adjust sa depensa kasi yung depensa namin pang Cafe France yun e. Natambakan kami agad kaya kailangan mag adjust kami," he said.
"Kayang kaya naman, feel ko kaya namin," he said.
Salado was reduced to a spectator in the series opener with still nine minutes left to play and Racal trailing Cignal-San Beda, 74-59.
The Tile Masters still managed to pull to within five after Rey Nambatac dropped eight points, but the Hawkeyes held on behind the big games of Jason Perkins and Pamboy Raymundo.
"Naapakan ko yung paa ni Perkins. Kinuha ko pa kasi yung bola e," said Salado, who scored seven points on top of 10 rebounds and two assists before sitting out.
"Gusto ko pumasok pero sila naman ang nakapagpahabol e. Mahirap kasi talaga kasi malaki ang lamang."
