JUAN Gomez de Liano, Sean Manganti, Joshua Munzon, and Santi Santillan emerge as the biggest names in the 153-strong list of applicants for the 2019 PBA D-League Draft set on Tuesday.
After establishing himself as a steady playmaker for University of the Philippines this past UAAP season, Gomez de Liano headlines the guards who are about to take one step closer to achieving their PBA dreams.
Joining him in the backcourt are Fighting Maroons teammate Jun Manzo, La Salle's Kib Montalbo, Ateneo's Anton Asistio, FEU's Jasper Parker, San Beda's AC Soberano, Arellano's Ian Alban, JRU's Jed Mendoza, and CEU's Orlan Wamar.
Manganti established himself as a dependable winger for Adamson while Munzon made a name as a reliable defender in his stints with the Saigon Heat and Westports Malaysia Dragons in the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL).
They're not the lone options in the wing and forward positions, though, with Clint Doliguez of San Beda, Adrian Wong of Ateneo, and CESAFI MVP Rey Suerte of University of the Visayas also putting their names in the pool.
Santillan is also a reliable option for bigs after capping his stellar two-year run with the Green Archers.
With him up front in the field are Mapua's Warren Bonifacio and NU's Troy Rike.
