JOSHUA Munzon admitted that there's still a lot left to be desired from his first game with AMA Online Education in the 2019 PBA D-League.

"I feel like I didn't play good today at all," he said on the heel of the Titans' 80-65 victory over McDavid on Monday.

The Fil-Am swingman scattered 12 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists, yet the 24-year-old wasn't happy with how he got things done on the offensive end.

Munzon shot 5-of-13 from the field, as well as missing all of his six attempts from downtown. He also went 2-of-6 from the charity stripe, while also committing three turnovers.

"I missed a lot of free throws, missed a lot of shots. So definitely, I got some more work to do," he said.

Part of Munzon's struggles is him missing time with AMA as he had to go back to the United States for five days to secure all the necessary papers on his nationality for him to get clearance to play in the developmental ranks.

"I haven't been practicing as much as I'd like to. I could've been better," he said. "(Playing in the PBA D-League) is definitely an adjustment. I got to a real slow start out there, but I'm just happy that my teammates were able to pick me up. Franky (Johnson) made shots, Troy (Rike) was working on the boards, so it's definitely a team effort out there."

It's just Munzon's first game, though, and Titans coach Mark Herrera believes that there's a lot more in his prized recruit going forward.

"Malaki ang expectations ko sa kanya. Wag lang siya ma-pressure. This is a team game, hindi naman one-on-one lang ito," said the bench tactician.

Munzon shares the same sentiments as he hopes to contribute more in AMA's next game against UST on Tuesday.

"I won't make any excuses. I went out there and played just like everybody else. But give us more time, maybe we'll get together a bit more, and we'll be better the next game," he said.
