BATANGAS guard John Ragasa has been cleared of any serious injury and is expected to return to action next week in the PBA D-League.

Batangas coach Eric Gonzales allayed fears Ragasa suffered a major injury after taking an accidental elbow to the jaw in their game against Wangs.

"As per the x-ray, there are no anomalies found and according to the test, he's negative to any complications," Gonzales said.

Halfway through the fourth period against Wangs, an inadvertent elbow from Robbie Herndon knocked Ragasa out.

The 25-year-old guard was brought to the Medical City in Pasig where he underwent a spinal X-ray.

Batangas look to extend its win streak to three when it takes on the CEU Scorpions.

"He was cleared by the doctors to go home and get some rest," said Gonzales.
