JERON Teng regained his explosive form as Flying V cruised to a 104-89 victory over Tanduay on Thursday in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
Teng erupted with 30 points to go with nine rebounds and four assists for the Thunder against the Rhum Masters after scoring 11 on 4-of-18 shooting in the win over Racal three days ago.
The former La Salle star scored 18 in the second half where the Thunder led by as many as 21 points on the way to their sixth win in as many games.
Thomas Torres scored 18, while Eric Salamat and Hans Thiele had 14 points apiece.
The Rhum Masters dropped to 3-2.
"I didn't really expect thus to be a lopsided match. We stepped up defensively and Jeron exploded in the second half," said Flying V coach Eric Altamirano.
Lester Alvarez paced Tanduay with 23 points, three rebounds and seven assists, while Jerwin Gaco added 13 markers and seven rebounds.
