CEBUANA Lhuillier trounced MP Hotel, 118-78, on Thursday for its second win in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
Jackson Corpuz scored 26 points, Norbert Torres and Almond Vosotros added 15 points each, as the Gems took a share of top spot with a 2-0 win-loss slate.
Cebuana Lhuillier led by as many as 42 points, winning comfortably this time after a tight opening match that saw the Gems edge Café France with Moala Tautuaa hitting the marginal shot from the stripe.

“It was a shaky performance in the first game but I just challenged them that they had an off-night last game but they can’t have an off-night on defense,” said Cebuana Lhuillier coach Boycie Zamar.
Ex-pro Jopher Custodio had 17 points, while Jan Colina and Rey Nambatac added 12 points each for MP Hotel, winless in two games.
