FONZO Gotladera and Marvin Hayes will beef up FamilyMart-Enderun for the upcoming 2019 PBA D-League wars.
FamilyMart announced the major additions on Thursday during the team launch at Enderun Colleges in McKinley Hill in Taguig in what would be the school's initial foray into the developmental league.
"We joined the league to raise our level of competition, so that when we come back to our mother leagues NAASCU and MNCAA, we'll be able to compete," said Titans coach Pipo Noundou.
Aside from the ex-pros, also bolstering the team are Jomari Presbitero from San Beda and John Vidal from Enderun.
But more than the reinforcements, Noundou also expects big things from his varsity players led by guard Mark Nunez, Fil-Peruvian forward Valandre Chauca from California-Berkeley, and Cameroonian big man Colincs Wabo.
"The program is growing and this first experience in this level will be a tough experience for us, but we're excited," the former FEU slotman said. "We expect everyone to give their best. I'm confident some guys will take the challenge."
Noundou added: "We started this six years ago. It's time to take it to the next level."
