THE legion of Gaconatics can heave a sigh of relief as Go for Gold coach Charlies Tiu allayed fears of a serious injury on Jerwin Gaco after the veteran cager went down late in a loss to Akari-Adamson on Tuesday.

Tiu assured Gaco can play in the Scratchers’ next game, despite the former PBA cager was seen wincing in pain as he held his right thigh after a collision with Falcons big man Papi Sarr late in the fourth period of Go for Gold’s 92-98 loss in the PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup.

Gaco left the game with still 1:35 remaining.
