After leading Big Chill to a runner-up finish in the recent PBA D-League Foundation Cup, three Superchargers are ready to move on to the big league.
Fil-Americans Alex Mallari, Keith Jensen and Elliot Tan have submitted their application for the PBA Draft last Monday, according to agent Charlie Dy.
The three played a pivotal role in the Superchargers’ run to the recent Foundation Cup finals where they were swept by the NLEX Road Warriors in the best-of-three title series.
The 25-year-old Mallari, a six-foot-four guard out of Lewis-Clark State, has played for the Big Chill/FCA franchise since the start of the amateur league last year while Jensen, 24, out of NCAA Division 3 New York University, began playing for Big Chill in the Aspirants Cup early this year.
Tan, 23, is a point guard and son of former PBA player Alex Tan.
Karl Dehesa of the NLEX Road Warriors is also applying for the PBA Draft.
