FAR Eastern University will have a new partner as it enters a new era.
Seaoil has linked up with the Tamaraws for the 2020 PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup, with the Morayta crew suiting up as the Extreme Racers.
FEU, led by head coach Olsen Racela and athletic director Mark Molina sealed the deal with Seaoil's vice president for corporate and consumer marketing Jose Jaime dela Fuente and president for lubricants Lawrence Kristoffer Yu.
"We are very happy to partner with Seaoil in the upcoming D-League. FEU is grateful for their support in our team, especially as this tournament will be the start of our preparation for the UAAP season," said team manager Richie Ticzon.
Excitement is high for this Seaoil-FEU side with sharpshooter RJ Abarrientos, Nigerian slotman Emman Ojoula and Baby Tamaraws' versatile forward Chiolo Anonuevo joining the seniors team.
L-Jay Gonzales, Ken Tuffin, and Xyrus Torres are expected to lead the Extreme Racers in this campaign, which signals the beginning of the team's buildup for the UAAP Season 83 later in the year.
