HAPEE got a big lift as Gilas cadets Troy Rosario, Baser Amer, and Scottie Thompson will be suiting up for the Fresh Fighters in Game One of the PBA D-League Foundation Cup finals against Café France on Thursday.
Team manager Bernard Yang said Rosario, Amer, and Thompson arrived in Manila from Singapore on Tuesday - a day after the Philippines won gold in the Southeast Asian Games - and attended practice on Wednesday.
Rosario, Amer, and Thompson played key roles for the Tab Baldwin-coached side, which swept their matches in Singapore but got a fright from Thailand and Indonesia in the medal round.
Rosario was impressive in the semifinals, finishing with 27 points and 12 rebounds in the win against Thailand.
