CIGNAL-San Beda guns for solo lead when it takes on Victoria Sports-MLQU in the PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup on Tuesday.
The match starts at 5 p.m. at the JCSGO Gym in Cubao, with the Hawkeyes looking to extend their winning run to six.
Currently in a logjam with Racal and Cafe France atop the standings with a 5-1 card, the Hawkeyes are not taking their foes lightly despite their gap in the rankings.
Cignal coach Boyet Fernandez said they are bracing for a tough match against the Robbie Herndon-led Victoria Sports.
"It's really going to be a tough game," Fernandez said.
"Victoria led by 14 in the first half against Cafe France. If a team led by as much against Cafe Fance then it's a strong team. We'll be ready for them," he added, referring to the Victoria-Bakers game where Victoria had control early before going flat in the second half.
Meanwhile, Batangas rides the crest of a come-from-behind 97-96 win over Wangs as it tackles the winless Dragons in the 3 p.m. tussle.
The Batangueños hope to hike their 2-4 win-loss record while Blustar eyes its first win in six games.
