CAFÉ France once again bounced back from a setback, beating winless Informatics, 78-66, on Tuesday in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup at the JCSGO gym in Quezon City.

The Bakers rolled to another win for a 3-2 win-loss record in a roller-coaster ride that is keeping them in the middle of the pack.

“Morale booster na naman. (Pero) nakita naman natin (ang problema) ‘yung consistency namin, dahil win loss win loss kami,” said coach Egay Macaraya.

Café France hopes to break that trend in two weeks, however, against three-time defending champion NLEX.

Michael Parala had a team-high 20 points for the Bakers as they recovered from a loss to Cebuana Lhuillier last week.

Parala started off Café France’s 9-2 run for a 58-49 lead. A four-point play by Jens Knuttel hiked the Bakers’ lead to 69-56 with four minutes remaining in the game.

Informatics remained in the cellar with 0-5 in a tie with Boracay Rum.
