ZARK'S Burger-Lyceum got back on track with a 108-94 victory over Go for Gold-St.Benilde on Monday in the PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup at the JCSGO Gym in Cubao.
CJ Perez had 23 points, seven rebounds and four assists as the Jawbreakers bounced back from a stunning loss to Gamboa Coffee Mix-St. Clare.
Mike Nzeusseu had 21 points and 11 rebounds, while Jaycee Marcelino chipped in 15 markers as Zark’s improved to a 5-4 win-loss record.
The Jawbreakers took a 36-23 lead and overcame a late rally by the Scratchers.
Go for Gold opened the fourth period with a 10-0 run to trim the gap to 76-85.
But the Jawbreakers were quick to restore order, with Jaycee Marcelino nailing a teardrop to bring the lead back to 11 points, 87-76.
"We're happy we got back to winning ways," said Zark's coach Topex Robinson.
Matt Salem had game-high 24 points for Go for Gold-CSB, which dropped to 4-6.
