    Zark’s-Lyceum takes control early and cruises to victory to force decider against Che’Lu San Sebastian

    ZARK’S-LYCEUM forged a title decider in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup finals with a 98-90 victory over Che’Lu Bar and Grill-San Sebastian in Game Two of the finals on Thursday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

    The Jawbreakers got off to a strong start for a 21-8 lead and never looked back.

    The series decider is set on Tuesday, 4 p.m. also at the Ynares Sports Arena.

    CJ Perez, who received the Conference Most Valuable Player award before tipoff, had a team-high 15 points and seven rebounds, while Jaycee Marcelino had 13 points for the Jawbreakers.

    Mike Nzeusseu had 11 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks. He scored eight points in the first half that saw the Jawbreakers lead, 54-34.

    Zark’s led by as many as 22 points, and forced forced Che’Lu to a 35 of 93 clip from the field.

    “We reminded them that this is the finals already. We really have to bring our defensive mind kasi ‘yun ‘yung nawala sa amin last game. We thought it’s going to be a walk-in-the-park for us but reality struck us,” said Zark’s-LPU coach Topex Robinson.

    Allyn Bulanadi had a game-high 23 points while hauling 10 rebounds for the Revellers.

    RK Ilagan had 13 points for Che’Lu.
