CHE’LU Bar and Grill rampaged through AMA Online Education, 111-95, to score back-to-back wins on Thursday in the 2018 PBA D-League Foundation Cup at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Jeff Viernes put on the finishing touches in the Revellers’ balanced attack, scoring eight of the Revellers’ final 11 points as they improved to 2-1.

Chris Bitoon was as stellar in the game with his 23 points, seven boards, five assists, and three steals, while Jessie Collado got 19 points and four rebounds in the win.

The Che’Lu frontcourt also got it done with Jason Melano nabbing 18 points, six assists, and four boards, and Jay-R Taganas collecting a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds as the battle of the boards went its way, 53-40.

But coach Stevenson Tiu lamented what he felt was a sloppy showing of his Revellers which caused the tight affair through three quarters.

“Masyado kaming complacent. Sinabi ko sa kanila, you have to respect the game of our opponents because that may have cost us the game. Buti na lang nakapag-regroup kami,” he said.

Engaged in a tight 84-83 affair, Bitoon and Collado conspired in leading Che’Lu to an 18-7 finishing kick that gave their side a commanding 102-90 advantage in the final one minute and 32 seconds.

Domark Matillano carried the still winless Titans (0-3) with 24 points and eight rebounds, as Owen Graham saw another double-double showing to the tune of 15 points and 13 rebounds go down the drain.
