WANGS scored its second straight victory, beating winless Blustar Detergent, 87-78, on Thursday in the PBA D-League Aspirants' Cup on Thursday at the Ynares Sports Center in Pasig.
The Couriers, who followed up a pulsating 98-93 victory AMA Online Education, improved their playoff chances with a 3-5 win-loss record.

Cedrick Labing-isa and John Tayongtong spearheaded Wangs' attack with 18 points apiece.
Allen Enriquez scored 18, while John Tambeling added 14 points, combining for 20 points early as the Couriers erected a 49-38 halftime lead.
The Couriers led by as many as 20 in the third quarter before the Dragons pulled to within eight, 69-61.
Wangs broke loose only in the final minutes after Tayongtong scored four quick points to put the game away, 87-76.
Jason Melano scored 22 points, including 14 in the third period, for the Dragons, who remained listless in seven outings.
Wei Ong Yong added 14 points.
