Calvin Oftana scattered 17 points and seven rebounds off the bench to help the Movers break the game wide open with a 13-2 tear in the fourth quarter to take an 81-59 advantage with 5:44 to go.
Evan Nelle did a stellar job on the point with his 11 points, seven assists and six boards, as AC Soberano also scored 11 before going down with a strained hamstring.
James Canlas added 10 points, six rebounds and four assists, as Donald Tankoua had eight points and four boards for Metropac-San Beda.
More than the win, coach Boyet Fernandez expressed satisfaction with how his younger guys performed in keeping the Movers unscathed in the Foundation Group.
"Ang galing ng mga rookies ko. I'm happy with the way they're stepping up. The guys coming off the bench are proving that they are capable of playing," he said, lauding the efforts of guys like Nelle, together with Prince Etrata, and Peter Alfaro.
Metropac-San Beda rose to a 2-0 win-loss record, while sending Wangs to its first defeat of the tourney.
Axel Inigo was the biggest thorn on the side of the Movers as he led the Couriers with 21 points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals.
Gelo Vito added 15 points and seven rebounds, while Arvin Tolentino got 11 points and five boards in the defeat.
