BIG Chill used two huge rallies in the second half to clobber Erase Xfoliant, 88-68, on Tuesday in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup at Emilio Aguinaldo College gym.
The Super Chargers held Erase to three points over a six-minute stretch in the third and unloaded 12 points capped by a Mac Montilla triple to extend their lead to 23 points, 60-37.
In the final period, Big Chill continued to dictate the tempo as Mar Villahermosa's three-pointer sparked the Super Chargers' 14-6 run and stretched their lead to 30, 80-50.
"Naumpisahan lang sa depensa at sumunod na lang ang opensa," said Big Chill coach Robert Sison.
Terrence Romeo led the Super Chargers with 21 points, while Villahermosa added 19.
Big Chill snapped its two-game losing streak and stayed in second spot with a 5-2 win-loss record, while Erase absorbed its fifth loss in seven games this conference.
"We want to keep up with NLEX," said Sison. "We have to win the next three games and try to get that outright semis berth."
Nate Matute came up with 19 markers for Erase, while Marlon Gomez added 12 and Femi Babayemi chipped in 10 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
