BIG CHILL looks to have grabbed the edge in the tug-of-war for the services of Terrence Romeo in the PBA D-League when the Far Eastern University hotshot recently agreed to become a product endorser for the company.

Robert Sison, head coach of the Big Chill Superchargers, said that they have reaffirmed their rights with Romeo as he will be an endorser for the company's soon-to-be-launched sports drink.

“Terrence will be endorsing a sports drink of Big Chill that will be launched anytime soon,” said Sison.

Terms of the deal were not revealed.

Romeo has also seen action for Big Chill in the Foundation Cup, scoring 15 points on Monday to help the Superchargers beat Boracay Rum 82-60 in his first game since sustaining a hand injury two months ago.

Romeo is also being eyed by Fruitas, incidentally a competitor of Big Chill in the fruit shake business, after FEU recently inked a tie-up with the squad.

“We firmly stood our ground on the live contract of Terrence. But Big Chill is fully and in all out support of Terrence playing for FEU,” Sison said.
