BIG CHILL defeated Blackwater Sports, 20-17, on Friday to capture the PBA D-League 3-on-3 championship at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
Far Eastern University star Terrence Romeo led the Superchargers to the victory to claim the P20,000 top prize and the right to represent the Philippines in the Fiba-Asia 3-on-3 in Doha next month.
Also part of the team are Mac Montilla, Mark Canlas, and Mar Villahermosa.
The game was held during halftime of Game 1 of the PBA Commissioner’s Cup semifinals between Talk ‘N Text and Barangay Ginebra.
Blackwater Sports will receive P12,000 for finishing first runner-up.
