FOR being the stabilizing force for Cignal-Ateneo in its run to the finals in its maiden campaign in the developmental ranks, Isaac Go was hailed as the Conference MVP for the 2019 PBA D-League.
The 23-year-old forward averaged 9.9 points on 45-percent shooting, to go with 4.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists as he played all 13 games for the Blue Eagles.
Cignal-Ateneo finished the Aspirants Group with an 8-1 win-loss card, beat Chadao-FEU in the quarterfinals and swept Valencia City Bukidnon-SSCR in the semis.
Go's presence, though, was sorely missed in Game Two of the finals due to an illness, as CEU pulled off a 77-74 victory to level the best-of-five championship series to a game apiece.
The 6-foot-8 senior bested Cignal-Ateneo teammate Thirdy Ravena, Valencia-SSCR's RK Ilagan and Allyn Bulanadi for the plum.
