PAUL Desiderio caught fire from beyond the arc as he sank five triples to lead Café France in dealing Blustar Detergent a 36-point beatdown, 88-52, to get back on the winning track in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup in the JCSGO Gym on Tuesday.
Desiderio finished with a team-high 19 points, but particularly waxed hot from deep after halftime when he sank four of his five triples to sustain the Bakers big lead over the Dragons.
Rod Ebondo put in all of his 14 points in the first half as Café France dominated Blu especially in the second quarter where the Bakers clobbered the Dragons, 30-6.
Coming off a huge loss to Cignal, 88-74, the Bakers vented its ire on the Dragons to improve its record to 2-1 while keeping Blustar winless in three outings.
Long Seng Mak led Blu with 14 points, while Jason Melano, on loan from Blackwater, added 12 markers.
