CIGNAL got going early and ran away with a 107-69 victory over Zark's Burger on Monday in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig .
Andres Cahilig topscored for the Hawkeyes with 15 points, most coming in the closing minutes with the result already beyond doubt.
Raymar Jose who set the tone early for the Hawkeyes, delivering 12 points and 17 rebounds.
Jose dropped eight points in the first half as Cignal led, 46-25.
Dan Sara hit a jumper to give the Hawkeyes a 94-51 with six minutes and 10 seconds left.
Cignal improved to 2-1 and coach Boyet Fernandez warned the Hawkeyes games will be much tougher in the next few weeks.
"Sana maging healthy pa rin kami, we still have more games left. Sunod-sunod yung laro and we're playing tougher teams after this," said Fernandez.
Davon Potts and Jayson Perkins added 10 points each for the Hawkeyes, who kept the Jawbreakers winless in two outings.
Robbie Celiz led Zark's with 20 points, five rebounds, and four assists but turned the ball over six times.
