AMA Online Education has signed up Andre Paras to play until the next season of the PBA D-League.
AMA coach Mark Herrera said Paras recently signed a fresh deal that will allow the eldest son of PBA great Benjie Paras to play until the 2017-2018 season of the PBA D-League.
Paras has been putting up respectable numbers for a player who took a hiatus due to his showbiz commitments as he averaged 7.33 points and 18 rebounds for AMA.
His maiden conference with AMA in the PBA D-League has already seen him haul 22 rebounds twice this conference.
For Herrera, Paras is a future PBA player and his signing is a boost to AMA's championship aspirations in the coming conferences.
"He is a future PBA player and napaka-humble niya, coachable player, at very athletic siya for his size. Nakikita ko na puwede niya kaming dalhin sa goal namin sa PBA D-League na mag-champion," said Herrera, who has coached Paras when he was still a kid.
