JERICHO Cruz, Ingrid Sewa, and Rodney Brondial scored the bulk of the points for Adamson to repulse College of Saint Benilde, 80-63, on Saturday in the Filoil Flying V Hanes Premier Cup at The Arena in San Juan.
Cruz had 25 points, Sewa added 24 points and 12 rebounds, while Brondial chipped in 13 points to lift the Falcons to their third win in five outings in Group A.
The Falcons put the game away after outscoring the Blazers, 22-10, in the final period.
Mark Romero added 21 points for the Blazers, who lost their fourth game in six tries.
Adamson coach Leo Austria called the shots for the team after arriving early Saturday morning from Kuala Lumpur following San Miguel’s grueling triple-overtime victory over Malaysia Friday night in the Asean Basketball League.
