BOKO Mupungu had 22 points and 18 rebounds to lead Southwestern University to its first win, beating University of the Philippines, 73-60, on Wednesday in the Filoil Flying V Hanes Premier Cup.
The Congolese import also had two blocks in 28 minutes of action as the Cobras won their first game in three matches.
John Auditor scored 16 points and pulled down seven rebounds, while Mark Tallo added 10 points, six rebounds, and three assists for the Cobras.
Gelo Vito had 13 points and Paul Desiderio chipped in 12 markers for the Maroons, who absorbed their sixth loss in seven games.
