COB Sports Tarlac and Yssy Clean arranged a title showdown for the National Basketball League-Pilipinas (NBL) Youth 14-Under Division title after hurdling separate foes on Friday at the Pace Academy in Quezon City.
Cob Sports pulled off a thrilling 55-50 win over Kulokoys while Yssy Clean downed Coach K, 56-49, to advance to the championship game.
The Tarlac squad scored the last five points of the game to claim the semifinals victory in the tournament that had 60 teams participating across six age-group divisions.
Other semifinals games saw Binmaley beating Arriba Iriga St. Vincent, 93-71, and Lyceum-Northwestern University (LNU) Dukes defeating Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, 78-50, in the 18-under division.
Anunciation Panthers defeated Pangasinan Ang Galing, 59-46, in the semifinals of the 16-under tournament.
