CHIANG Kai Shek College and National University-A stayed undefeated on Saturday, advancing to the semifinals of the Seaoil-NBTC National High School Championship.
Chiang Kai Shek-Seaoil Extreme 95 came away with a 76-66 victory over University of San Carlos-Maynilad Cebu at the Ynares Sports Arena, while the NU Bullpups-Seaoil Extreme Diesel routed Southern City College-Philex Mining Zamboanga, 82-39, at the Xavier Gym.
Joining CKSC and NU-A in the semifinals are Hua Siong College of Iloilo-Smart and Sacred Heart School-Maynilad Cebu, which both remained undefeated after hurdling their respective quarterfinal opponents.
Hua Siong survived NU-B-Seaoil Extreme U in overtime, 87-81, while Sacred Heart walloped Assumption College-Philex Mining Davao, 100-36.
NU-A will play Sacred Heart while Chiang Kai will take on Hua Siong in the semifinals slated late Saturday afternoon at the Ynares Sports Arena.
John Paul Calvo had 30 points for Iloilo's Hua Siong squad including 10 in the overtime period to beat NU-B.
Philippine Under-17 team member Arnie Padilla had 21 points for Sacred Heart, which lost to NU-A in the preliminaries.
Jeremy James Gallemit had 19 points, and Jonas Raphael Tibayan added 17 points and 12 rebounds for CKSC against USC.

In Division 2, University of Assumption-NLEX Pampanga beat Bethel Baptist Christian School-Philex Mining Bukidnon, 81-48; Olongapo City National High School-NLEX shocked Reedley International School-Seaoil Extreme, 86-69.
College of San Benildo-Seaoil Extreme Diesel beat University of Cordilleras-NLEX Baguio, 63-52, while Trinity University of Asia-Seaoil Extreme U defeated De La Salle Lipa-Meralco Batangas, 66-54.
