CEBU CITY — University of Cebu completed the Cesafi Final Four cast as the Webmasters dominated also-ran Cebu Institute of Technology-University, 82-68, on Tuesday in the 17th Cesafi basketball tournament at the Cebu Coliseum.
Cameroonian forward Frederick Elombi had 24 points, 16 rebounds, three assists and five steals to lead UC to their sixth win in five games, joining defending champion University of the Visayas, University of San Jose-Recoletos and University of San Carlos in the semifinals.
John Calvin Jabello added 11 points, two assists and two steals in a match that the Webmasters led from tip-off to final buzzer.
UC led by just 10 at halftime before outscoring CIT-U, 22-7, in the third for a 25-point lead, 63-38.
Mark Kong scored 15 for CIT-U, which dropped to 1-10.
