CEBU CITY — University of Cebu won its second game in a row, crushing Cebu Institute of Technology-University, 75-57, on Tuesday in the 17th Cesafi basketball tournament at the New Cebu Coliseum.

The Webmasters got another huge performance Cameroonian import Frederick Elombe, who scored 26 points, pulled down 15 rebounds and added two steals and two blocked shots.

Jayvee de la Cruz also pumped in 13 points, three steals and two blocks while Joven Tagudin added 10 as the Webmasters moved to fourth spot.

The Webmasters were ahead 32-20, at halftime and raised their lead to 23 points, 56-33, after an and-one by JR Puerto, a fallaway jumper by Elombe and a triple by dela Cruz, with 1:40 to go in the third.

Mark Kong scored 20 and Jemsercon Sable added 11 for the Wildcats, who ended the first round with a 0-6 mark.
