BIG Boss Idol defeated Dasma Ballers, 21-16, to capture the 3x3 Golden League Manila 2018 crown on Sunday at the Ayala Circuit Mall in Makati City.
The team of Cedrick Ablaza, Roy Cayanan, Jhapz Bautista and Bhabap Sta. Maria earned US$3,000 (around P160,000) and a slot to the SINA 3x3 International Elite League slated November 13 to 17 in Beijing.
The Dasma Ballers bagged the second-place prize of US$2,000 while Metro Star Realty was third and bagged US$1,000.
Big Boss Idol beat guest team Aba Prefecture of Tibet, 21-13, to arrange a championship match against Dasma Ballers 2, which defeated Metro Star Realty, 20-11, in the other semifinal match.
League organizers are planning to hold a second tournament with plans to also bring the event in cities outside Manila.
