CEBU City returned to its winning ways after pounding Soccsksargen, 89-57, in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) Lakan Cup Friday at the STRIKE Gym in Bacoor.
William McAloney led Cebu with a monster double-double of 27 points and 17 rebounds off the bench to go with three steals and a couple of assists and blocks.

Up by just seven points heading into the second frame, 13-6, Cebu started firing on all cylinders with a 14-2 blast to break the game wide open, 27-8.
Michael Cenita's layup at the 6:11 mark of the third quarter gave the Sharks their biggest lead of the game at 34, 75-41.
Michael Cenita added 13 points on a perfect 5-of-5 clip while Kevin Villafranca poured in 10 markers.
