THE Cebu Sharks defeated Marikina, 50-42, as the teams set records in the MPBL on Friday.
The 42 points was the lowest ever output made by any team in the young three-season history of the league. It was also produced the lowest combined output in an MPBL game.
Cebu also held the Shoemasters to 14 for 59 shooting for 23 percent, the league’s lowest shooting percentage.
Patrick Cabahug led the Cebu Sharks with 14 points on 5 of 10 shooting.
Cebu evened its record after a loss to Bulacan last week.
